NVDA Hits $172 As Planned

Last Tuesday I highlighted a pattern in Nvidia that would quickly accelerate it from $162 to $172. It hit after hours last night on news Jensen is predicting the approval (of an exception) to sell H20 GPU to China again after his White House meeting. I posted the chart again Friday in my July 7th Week Recap. Continued swing long AMD is up over 50% on stock basis alone (not including options).

Chinese Data Delights

Monday morning in the room I called out a play in BABA to move higher off its 50W at 105 into potentially strong China retail sales. Data last night was strong. I also said BIDU would likely follow. BABA is up 6% pre-market while BIDU is up 5% back to 90 where it really needs to stick on that weekly chart. I like my chart of the Shanghai on a monthly as a guide. China could really shoot higher if this breakout on this long-watched chart holds with ROC (bottom panel) moving higher.
