While waiting for NVDA earnings 11/20 after hours, and Trump's announcement of Treasury Secretary, you will notice that geopolitics matters again.
Literally within hours of the White House (with UK and France's support) giving Ukraine permission to use US-supplied long-range missiles to strike deep into Russia... they used them!!
At the same time, Moscow announced a change to its policy that would allow for it to use nuclear weapons against a "conventionally armed adversary" backed by a nuclear power... and so far they haven't! Let me re-emphasize: Russia's revised nuclear doctrine includes nuclear retaliation for non nuclear attacks.
This follows the suspicious activity of a Chinese vessel directly above telecom cables in the sea being cut which damaged communications between Germany-Finland-Sweden-Lithuania.
Is it any wonder Gold, Bonds, and Yen rallied this morning?
