Monday night I saw + reposted the news:
NEW: Stimulus blitz announced at rare joint briefing of central bank and financial regulator chiefs
• China cuts interest rates, existing mortgage costs
• China lets funds, brokers tap PBOC funds to buy stock
It is notable because not only did China's 10Y bond yield fall to 2% for the first time on record, but I had recently been talking about China - chasing long BIDU, LI & FXI Monday morning in my live trading room!
I did follow up on all those plays this morning plus many more for clients.
Needless to say, China proxies, AND the US stocks that support commodities, were lit!
Client Brian had his best single day evah on his silver trade!
