Michael's Trading Room Summary

APR 4, 2024 AM

MAG7 - Large gap up this morning; the MAG7 are awake !! still holding near the weekly highs; still above 50, 20 & 10 -day MAs. Daily MACD line has crossed under the signal line but is still above zero (around the 1.30 / 1.40 area).

Weighted Dollar / Yields Ratio - tagged 288 for a few days but failed to push through it / above it. Fading back this morning towards the 280 area.

IWF:IWD - Daily MACD still below zero; MACD line still under the signal line as well. Holding at the 1.88 area daily - resting on the 100-day MA. Still under the 10, 20, & 50-day MA & testing a 3MA breakout.

INTERMARKET

T2100 - cont to move higher (weekly) . Very Large Gap up hourly / Daily.

T2104 - Still buying under the surface ("net buying")

T2123 - Still strong.

T2126 - Sideways weekly. Large gap up this morning on daily / hourly. Not exciting.

WTI CRUDE - Still holding above 85.00 daily (barely).. could retest 83..

GOLD (futures) - tapped 2300 before pulling back; still above 2280. Starting to soften... take care of your gold & miners. Consider taking profits or rolling out or tightening your stops.

Nat Gas - tapped 2.00 but stalled & failed to push through.

Bit Coin - attempting to push through 67k again; proxies are trying to move higher this morning. Don't trust the bounce in Bit Coin or tech.

FX

Dollar (DXY) - tapped 105 but failed to claim it; fell back into 104 and now trying to hold there. Dollar is weak against gold.

USDJPY - Daily is in a very tight range; 152 top / 151 btm... range is getting tighter. Still a threat of intervention

BOJ - 10Y ... expecting a move into 1.00%

EURJPY - Very bullish. Still Euro over Yen.

GPBUSD - weekly bullish engulfing. sideways w/ a 200-day bounce but nothing compelling.

EURUSD - Sideways mush.

BONDS

TLT - gapped up through 92 daily; still has a overhead gap to fill. Weekly 91.32 (91.35 hourly) proved support; now is this is "Fake Breakdown - Fast Recovery"...? Still sideways big picture.

TNX - came back down. Yields not ready to breakout or breakdown

INDEX

SPX - 5235 gap fill likely this morning. 5249 / 5251 hourly ... we would need to get back inside of that for a cont move lower.

QQQ - Just a big ol’ sideways for a while now.. break above 446.37 hourly would likely put gold into a light fade. Looking for a resumption higher above 447 hourly.

VIX - Doing as planned

CHASE

AMZN 185 about to tag, some digestion then 188

BABA needs above 72.91 for 74, trying but not yet there

CRM below 295 can see 290,285.46

CAG below 30.70 we see 29.31

CGC above 11 next is 12.5

GOLD heading into 17.50 trendline, needs above for explosive move digesting for now

HD heading to 354

MSOS needs above 10.64 for 11.50,12

SLV pushing towards 25.74

XLU needs above 65.37 for 66.70

SWING

WDAY - short needs time. (Swing FAVE posting). Options are poor but it's a nice chart for a short.

TREND

HD - Going to have a hard time long. Broke the 10/21 weekly (but has not crossed over). This is trouble. 354 weekly needs to prove as support.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

Copper continues higher / gold taking a little break. Don't trust the bounce in tech. Sam wrote up in Slack a piece about Pot Stocks; take a look when you have some time. Done with retail for now - just too much drama for Sam (COST, DKS). Gold ... just looks like it is taking a pause - not falling away.

AMD - getting ignored.

AA - stopped at 37 weekly. Very nice. Broke above daily Bollingers and looks to be attempting a fade back into them

ADM - bounced weekly.

AEM - should digest here.

AGI - "next door miner" - likely moves higher after earnings.

ANF - what a great short... and it likely continues to do that more. (As a pair trade - long AMZN - short ANF.)

AMZN - still in play; the close issued yesterday was a glitch - sorry; Notice it posted as 204? Working with developers on these alerts.

AG - oh WOW. "thats the silver squeeze" timed awesome.

BABA - it's trying.

CEF - nice pop up weekly into 21.50 weekly resistance. Asset Manager of GOLD and SILVER trust.

COIN - looks like a great short

CDE - great scoop pattern. Great.

CELH - at a LRE location; Needs to stay above the 10-week... likely digests here instead of rising up from here yet.

CAG - looks like a bull - trap (see that down-slopping 200day MA?)

CRM - very bearish. likely in time it rolls over to lower gap fills. It's on daily support; let it bounce first before adding as a short perhaps.

CADL - low price play. Looks productive. Has News. Nice "Scoop" pattern above the 10-week. Keep it above 1.94 weekly. Careful if it comes back. The VOLUME (4.6 million) on a low priced stock... good news, good science, good product, good volume, good chart....

DKNG - nice chase; little squeeze. Trying to hold 45.. has to hold to impress.

EQX - likely comes back to test 5.80 weekly before going higher. EQX - Above 5.80. Greenstone Mine. Ramping up production soon. 5.80 would be a great entry on a retest.

FSM - NGD - Sam will post thoughts on these later in Slack .. and EQX and AGI .

FSM - Big expansion bar likely pulls back to 4.20 weekly. Fixing their problems.

GE - looks great. Three spin-offs are complete now.

HUBS - Google rumor. Weekly scoop pattern; keep it above 660 weekly;

IPI - looking better.

JETS - little push on the hourly this morning.

KWEB - can it stick the landing?

GORO - WTH...? Careful if messing with this one.

GOLD - 17.50 daily resistance; has to get above that to cont. GOLD - Berrack. It's a major. Would be great above the 17.50 TL resistance.

GALT - nice above the 200-week; huge bullish expansion weekly... 3.04 weekly resistance... above that 3.36 ... nice base. Looks good.

MSFT - sideways digestion.

META - looks bullish (but for how long...?) - looks like a bull trap.

NFLX - looks bullish.

NEM - moving into the TL over-head (around 40.00) weekly.

NGD - above 1.62 looks very productive. It WILL digest. 2.00 resistance. Likely see improvement at earnings.

NTR - looking better. (looks better than IPI).

ORCL - news pushed into 128 hourly before beginning to fade below 127 hourly & now pushing back above that again.

PDD - still looks like it could roll over more.

PAAS - 17.20 daily / 17.40 weekly likely resistance

PFB - also a Carlos Activist play.

RKT - popping back up because of yields moving lower.

SAND - right into weekly TL (5.60 area).

SBSW - Popping weekly into 30-week MA. Moving into 200-day MA (resistance).

SLV - would be nice to see a pullback into 23.90 daily before popping up even higher. Likely digest by tomorrow. SLV - 24.50 weekly... expect digestion.

SAND - small... almost hit 5.60 weekly PT. Royalty company... very efficient. Margins are great.

SBSW - Popping weekly into 30-week MA. Moving into 200-day MA (resistance).

TAN - solar is looking better - with that pullback in yields.

TJX - kinda worried about that.

WYNN - stay above 105 weekly

XLE - stunning; protect against 92.56 weekly (or 94.71 weekly). Just wow.

XME - poking above 61.80.

POT STOCK PLAYS

MSOS - 10.30 weekly breakout/ 10.64 daily is a level to stay above. Still consider just MSOS as the one to ride for now.

TLRY - short covering play .. that is about all this is. Not really worth it here. Lot's of liquidity & has decent options. Hit 2.90 weekly PT.

CGC - 12.60 weekly long PT (this week).

CURLF - should be productive in future earnings releases. 5.79 daily resistance may now become support. This one seems like it is just getting started.

TCNNF - looks good as a leader in this space; should do better in earnings. Above 11.96 weekly looks productive into 16 in time.
