I mentioned in my trading room that a new contributor would be joining us who has a systematic approach to teaching options AND many years of helping investors apply option tactics & overlays to maximize trading returns. Hans and I have discussed this for several months, so I am very happy to make this announcement that will further round-out our mission at LaDucTrading to provide best-of-breed analysis and trades with customized engagement and trader education. Hans Albrecht is a professional options & volatility trader & educator.
He has generated over $750 million in options cash flow for investors and directly managed $1 billion in assets as equity fund manager.Hans began his his career as an options market maker, where he then traded a long/short gamma volatility hedge fund for almost a decade, specializing in volatility arbitrage and directional gamma scalping. He then transitioned as a volatility trader/portfolio manager for a broad suite of active listed overlay funds at Horizons ETFs, where he co-managed one of the largest listed options books in the country.

Over a decade of active portfolio management using options, he grew several of his funds 5-fold, and one of his covered call funds won a Lipper Award.
Hans has been a regular contributor on BNN Business, TD Ameritrade’s Market Show, Nasdaq’s Trade Talks, and Bloomberg TV. He has written extensively and been quoted in over 75 major publications, in addition to guest lecturing (McGill and Cornell) and presenting at conferences (CFA Society) on the derivatives markets. Hans holds an MBA from Cornell University and Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation.
