GRATEFUL MAMA BEAR

I am fiercely protective of my clients' success. My kids even called me "Mama Bear". I have a mug they gave me with that inscription that I tend to reach for in the mornings when I am feeling the protective 'urge'.

I love figuring out the market so I can best advise on when it's safe and when it's not, when to press long and when to press short.

I am happiest when I can help you protect your wealth, not just grow it.

Sometimes that makes me slow to embrace 'the moment' with high conviction when the near-term threat is abated - like the "Yellen Yahtze" of November 1st that I warned the week before could happen in my "Bounce Hard, Trounce Hard" client post, after helping clients very successfully navigate a 500 point short in markets from Aug to Oct.Well, we bounced hard in November. I read the 10 consecutive day advance in QQQ was like a 1 in 100 type move, and my IF/THEN became a reality: We have moved all the way up from SPX $4100 to soon filling that $4575 gap fill from August 1st.

Is the BIG danger over (of recession risk, fiscal dominance, and yield spikes from future monetary inflation)? Of course not, and my concern that stocks are jubilant because "USD Has Likely Peaked" are actually bearish, not bullish big picture. But for now, we trade the market we are in and I am grateful to be in it with you!

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I want to thank each of you for sticking with me in good market times and bad.
